Mrs. Deyton graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Work in 2007 and Master’s Degree in Teaching in Special Education in 2012. This will be her 9th year teaching Special Education and her 4th year teaching at Old Fort Elementary. She began her teaching career at Nebo Elementary before moving to Old Fort Elementary. She will be teaching 4th and 5th grade students this school year.
Amy and her family enjoy living in Old Fort. She and her family enjoy being outdoors, gardening, reading, and spending time together as a family.
