Ms. DONETTA PEDROZA

Ms. Pedroza graduated from the University of Michigan and began her career as a high school Spanish teacher.  She has weaved her way in and out of behavior health and human services settings as well as state schools across three states to continue to teach subjects such as English, math and Spanish.  She has been a teacher of English as a simultaneous language (or, English as a second language) and has served as a cultural bridge for a few schools in McDowell County for the past several years. Enjoying working with a team of caring and knowledgable ESL teachers, as well as staff and the community, Dee has made a career home in this extraordinary district of McDowell County Schools.
