I was born in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. I am an only child but I have 3 children, Kristen, Trey, and Sean. I also have 2 grandchildren, Kennedy and Liam. I graduated from Western Carolina University. I love reading, learning new things, and Chick-fil-a. I also encourage students to have a growth mindset, set goals, and to never give up.
