Hello! I'm Mrs. Leslie Hughes, and I have the pleasure of teaching 4th grade Nonfiction ELA, Science, and Social Studies. Originally from Marion, I now call Spruce Pine home, where I live with my husband Chad, our two boys, CJ (14) and Jake (9), and our twin daughters, Macie and Myla (5). I graduated from McDowell High School in 2002, pursued my education at McDowell Technical Community College, and then transferred to Appalachian State University, where I earned my degree in 2007. With 19 years of teaching experience here at Nebo, I am excited to engage and inspire our young learners every day!
