West McDowell Middle School is hosting an online silent auction from Nov. 17 through Dec. 13 to raise money for the 8th grade trip to the Outer Banks this spring.
This is a great time to score some extra special holiday gifts for those on your nice list! All the while, you'll be helping a great cause.
Many of these students would not get the opportunity to take this trip without financial assistance, and this will be the first time many of these students will go to the coast or see the ocean. The field trip is curriculum based and involves numerous activities rooted in science, math, and history. All profits go toward student costs. So get to bidding; you'll be helping these students make memories that will last a lifetime!
