My name is Heather Martin and I teach Marketing and Sales here at McDowell High School. I live in Black Mountain with my husband and two kids. I graduated from Owen High in 2009 and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2013. My entire teaching career has been here at MHS. I started teaching here in August of 2013 and taught Spanish for my first 8 years. In 2022, I made a subject change to Marketing and Sales and have enjoyed every minute of it.

In my free time, you will find me with my family, and usually it’s at the ball fields in Black Mountain with my kids. I also enjoy camping, fishing, and spending as much time as I can at Edisto.
