BETHANY PHELPS

Hello! My name is Bethany Phelps, and I am truly honored and excited to join the McDowell High School Titan community.

I was born and raised in Burke County and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human and Community Services from Lenoir–Rhyne College. Motivated by a deep passion for supporting and empowering others, I went on to complete my Master’s in Licensed Professional Counseling at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. After graduating, I obtained my Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor credential in 2009.

I am genuinely looking forward to working with the students, families, and staff of McDowell High School. It is a privilege to support our students’ growth, well-being, and overall success, and I am eager to build strong, positive relationships within the Titan community as I begin this new chapter.
