DALTON BROOKS

I am Dalton Brooks, a Next Step Adviser with Advise NC. It is a privilege to be working at McDowell High School where I also graduated. I hold a bachelor's degree in English from Liberty University, as well as a Master of Arts in Composition, also from Liberty. In addition to serving as a student adviser at MHS, I teach college English at Wake Tech, College of the Albemarle, and others as the need arises. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, acting in regional theatre, and listening to audiobooks and true crime podcasts. In addition, I travel to sing country and gospel music. I am excited to serve our students this school year and look forward to meeting all of them.
