I am a current board member in my second term.  I have served for seven years.  I have lived in Marion for 21 years happily married to Will Moomaw and we have three children.  I am a Registered Dietitian, an active member of First United Methodist Church, and currently serve on the board of the McDowell Mission Ministries.  I love the community that my husband and I chose to call home and believe that our education system is a true reflection of our community.  The time, money, and energy that we invest in our students, teachers, and school system can only benefit our community as a whole. I have truly  enjoyed serving on the  McDowell County School Board
