McDowell County Schools uses ParentLink for our Parent and Community Communication. ParentLink allows us to send voice notifications, text messages, emails, and push notifications to your iPhone or Android smartphone.

I am an Employee
ParentLink gets all of its information from PowerSchool. Please check with your school to make sure your information is correct in PowerSchool.

I am a Parent
Contact information for Parent Notifications is automatically synced each night from PowerSchool. If you are not getting notifications, please contact the school with your updated information.

I am a Student
We are currently exploring multiple ways to add your contact information to ParentLink.  Feel free to download the app and sign up as a community member

Even if you are not a employee, parent, or student you can still get our notifications. First, you can create a ParentLink account. We send notifications via email, voice phone calls and text messages. Please remember, we often make weather related calls between 5 and 6 AM. You can create an account at the by visiting
