Hybrid Learning plan for the 2020-21 School year.

McDowell County Schools Board of Education approved a hybrid learning plan to start the 2020-21 School year.  All students in the school system can choose between a 100% virtual learning plan or an in-person learning plan.

Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade:

Week One: (August 17th-21st) Students will report in 20% increments to serve as an orientation.

Week Two: (August 24th-28th) All students will be on campus using current health protocols.

Second Grade - High School:

Week One: (August 17th-21st) Students will report in 20% increments.

Week Two: (August 24th-28th) Students will be placed in either Group A or Group B. The groups will rotate on a weekly basis between in-person and virtual learning.
