NCWorks Online is offered through the NC Department of Commerce. It helps streamline the search for a career, provides assistance with career planning, and find training opportunities. It also provides great statistics about careers - area summary, job outlook, etc. that you can use in your classroom with your program area.
 

ACT Work Ready Communities

This site gives information about the WorkKeys test, also known as the Career Readiness certificate. It provides data about how many people in the state hold a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum certificate. It also shares what employers recognize and use the WorkKeys test as a hiring tool.
 

NC Career Clusters Guide

The online version of the NC Career Clusters Guide now allows you to find salary and job projections within the eight NC prosperity zones. This means you can search for occupations in a certain career cluster, or by career interest, and look at the salaries and job projections for only your part of the state.
There is an online version of the NC Career Clusters Guide and link to an 18 minute taped webinar for learning how to use the guide, interest profiler, and more.
